BRAOU MCA Entrance Test Results 2026 Released: Check Status via Official Portal

The BRAOU MCA Entrance Test results for the 2026–27 academic year were officially released in October 2026. Candidates who submitted their online applications by the deadline of 10 October 2026 can view their performance status directly on the official portal at online.braou.ac.in. The entrance test evaluation determines eligibility for the 500 available seats across university regional centres. If you face any difficulties accessing the results list, contact the BRAOU helpdesk at helpdesk@braou.ac.in or call 040-23680333 during working hours.

You can check your result by opening the official BRAOU online services portal at online.braou.ac.in and selecting ‘Entrance Test results for MCA Admissions 2026’. The university publishes the complete results as a downloadable PDF document, eliminating the need to log into an individual candidate account. Scroll through the document or use the search feature in your browser to locate your name and hall ticket number. If the document fails to load properly, email helpdesk@braou.ac.in or call 040-23680333 for technical support.

No login credentials or password details are required to check your BRAOU MCA Entrance Test results. The university publishes a consolidated PDF master list on online.braou.ac.in that displays all candidates’ results together. You only need your designated Hall Ticket Number or registered candidate name to find your entry within the published list. If you have forgotten your official hall ticket number, contact the university helpdesk at 040-23680333 or email helpdesk@braou.ac.in between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.

The BRAOU MCA Entrance Test results PDF contains four primary columns: Serial Number, Hall Ticket Number, Name of the Candidate, and Result Status. Candidates can verify their exact full name alongside their eight-digit hall ticket number to confirm their examination outcome. The result status explicitly states whether the candidate has qualified or was marked absent for the October 2026 examination. If any discrepancy appears in your name or hall ticket details, report the issue immediately to helpdesk@braou.ac.in.

A status of ‘Qualified’ means the candidate has secured the minimum qualifying mark of 25 per cent (50 marks out of 200) in the entrance test, or met SC/ST criteria where no minimum mark is required. Conversely, ‘ABSENT’ indicates that the applicant did not appear for the written pen-and-paper examination held at the designated test centre. Qualified candidates become eligible to attend the subsequent BRAOU MCA admission counselling session for seat allocation. If your status is incorrectly marked as absent, contact helpdesk@braou.ac.in.

The qualifying mark for the BRAOU MCA Entrance Test 2026 is 25 per cent, which equals 50 marks out of the total 200 marks. In accordance with state guidelines, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed for candidates belonging to SC and ST categories. Securing qualifying marks grants eligibility to participate in the admission counselling for the 500 available MCA seats across study centres. Candidates who fail to reach this cutoff cannot progress to the seat allotment stage for the academic year.

Candidates who have qualified in TG ICET 2026 do not need to appear for the separate BRAOU MCA Entrance Test. They can directly seek admission into the Master of Computer Applications programme by applying online through www.braouonline.in during the designated admission window. Both TG ICET rank holders and BRAOU entrance test qualifiers are evaluated for seat allotment across university regional centres. If you qualified in TG ICET, attend the university admission counselling with your ICET rank card.

Applicants must have completed a BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, or B.A degree with Mathematics at the 10+2 level or graduation level from a UGC-recognized university. General category candidates require at least 50 per cent aggregate marks in their qualifying degree, while SC, ST, and BC candidates require 45 per cent. There is no maximum age limit to apply for the programme. Candidates awaiting final semester results may also appear, provided they produce proof of meeting eligibility during admission counselling.

The BRAOU MCA Entrance Test is an offline pen-and-paper exam consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions carrying 200 total marks. Each question carries two marks, and the question paper is set in a bilingual format of English and Telugu. The test lasts 90 minutes and covers Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability, and Communication Ability with no negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates who qualify based on these marks are invited to participate in the university admission counselling process.

Candidates who qualify in the BRAOU MCA Entrance Test must attend the official admission counselling session announced on www.braouonline.in after results declaration. Qualified applicants need to register online, select their preferred Regional Centres or Learner Support Centres, and submit their academic documents for verification. Admission is granted based on entrance rank and candidate preference up to the 500 total seat limit. For further support regarding counselling schedules, contact helpdesk@braou.ac.in or call 040-23680333 on working days.
